This Privacy Policy explains what information CritterForge (a brand of The Crump Collective LLC) collects through critterforge.com, and how it's used.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email, phone (if provided), and your message — collected when you use the "Get In Touch" form for waitlist requests, custom commissions, or general questions.
- Order information: when you complete a purchase, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your payment details directly. We receive your name, email, and order details from Stripe, but never your full card number.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request data (like IP address and browser type) for security and performance purposes, as is standard for any website.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry, fulfill your order, or process your custom commission.
- To follow up about waitlist availability if you requested it.
- To maintain internal records of customers and orders for our own business operations (including our internal CRM system).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe to process payments and Cloudflare to host this site. Both have their own privacy policies governing the data they process on our behalf. We do not control and are not responsible for their practices beyond our use of their services.
4. AI-Assisted Imagery
Some product photos on this site may be AI-enhanced (background cleanup, lighting correction) or, where explicitly labeled, AI-generated concept renders shown alongside the physical product. Any image that does not show the actual physical item as photographed will be clearly labeled "AI-generated" or "Concept render" on that listing.
5. Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare and Stripe may set minimal functional cookies necessary for security and checkout to work correctly.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact form and order information for as long as reasonably necessary for business, tax, and legal record-keeping purposes.
7. Your Rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by reaching out through our Get In Touch form. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
